PrestaShop Monthly, May 2026
In this May edition, know that the teams worked mostly on things that are still under wraps and should be shared with you next month. The result is what appears as a lighter-than-usual monthly recap, but nevertheless, we are very happy with what went public these past few weeks. Let's get things started.
What’s new
PrestaShop recognized at OW2con 2026
PrestaShop received the OW2 Best Project Award in the community category at OW2con 2026, the European open source conference bringing together developers, IT companies, academics, nonprofits, and contributors.
This award recognizes the strength of our open source ecosystem and the collective work behind the PrestaShop project. From contributors and maintainers to ambassadors, agencies, partners, and community members, it reflects the shared commitment that keeps PrestaShop moving forward.
It is also a strong signal that we are on the right path. We will continue to make collaboration more visible, more structured, and more impactful for the people building PrestaShop every day.
New PrestaShop Experts Directory
Those of you looking for an agency to help you with your next ecommerce project are in luck. Indeed, whether you want to launch a new store, add new functionality to your site, or migrate from another platform, it will now be much easier for you to find the right PrestaShop-certified agency. Our new directory is not only faster and better looking but also more powerful when it comes to finding the right PrestaShop Expert for your project.
Main product updates
We’re actually saving this one for next month’s update. Stay tuned. In the meantime, in case you missed it, check out our current product roadmap.
Open source focus
PrestaShop 9.1.4 and 8.2.7 are available: There are no real changes to the PrestaShop Core in these versions, but both include ps_facetedsearch v4.0.4, the version of the bundled module that fixes the security issue identified by Frédéric Moreau (Antadis) and Gilles Caudal (Datalinx). Thanks to @clotairer for the rapid validation and testing of the fix.

Around the ecosystem
In May, we were at Netcomm Forum in Milan, one of Italy’s leading ecommerce events, to meet merchants, partners, and industry players shaping the future of online retail. It was a precious moment to meet the Italian ecosystem, share expertise, and discuss what comes next for commerce.
This June, the PrestaShop Tour will visit two new cities in Europe to meet the community of merchants, agencies, ecommerce specialists, and developers. After Toulouse, Naples, and Valencia, our team will be happy to meet you in Marseille and Poznan. If you can’t make it there, maybe you’ll be able to join us in Bologna in September, or Lille in November.
PrestaShop Tour 2026:
If you’re in these cities on those days, you know what to do. If you’re in Lyon on November 4-5, you may also be interested in the PS Summit (stay tuned).
And that's it... for now. Indeed, June will possibly be our richest month of the year in terms of updates; I'm not even sure if it will fit on one page...
You won't want to miss the next one.
