PrestaShop 9.2 brings two powerful features to accelerate your store’s performance. One Page Checkout unifies address, shipping, and payment into a single step, reducing cart abandonment and boosting conversions — while keeping the classic flow available. Native Custom Fields introduce a flexible Extra Properties system that lets developers declare custom data fields on products, orders, and more. Once declared, these fields are available to merchants directly in the back office and through the Admin API. A smarter, more adaptable PrestaShop for your business.

Extended multi-user capabilities: In the PrestaShop Customer Account, organization owners will be able to invite other users to join their organization, delegate rights, and manage the member list, individual settings, and granular permissions.

Multiple URLs support for modules: modules will be easier to deploy across production and pre-production environments, with added support for multiple URLs per organization.

PrestaShop 9.1 is now available. This release brings the new theme Hummingbird 2.0, a new storefront template designed with accessibility in mind and aligned with European accessibility requirements (European Accessibility Act), while delivering a cleaner, more modern front-end experience. On the technical side: PHP 8.5 and Symfony 6.4 LTS support, a more powerful Admin API, and two experimental features: multi-carrier support and a new discounts manager.

PrestaShop MCP Server is out of beta! The final version includes new authentication modes (Token & No-Auth), STDIO transport for local development, and native n8n compatibility for workflow automation. This version also adds Prompt Templates and Resources (static & dynamic) to give agents better context, while strengthening security through a full audit, granular access controls, and Tool Annotations (readOnly, destructive) to guide LLM behavior. The module is built on the official MCP PHP SDK for maximum reliability.

Shipping Carrier recommendations, available via the Marketplace in your back office module (MBO), introduce an intelligent onboarding system within the back office. It provides data-driven carrier suggestions tailored to the departure country, streamlining discovery and activation to accelerate logistics setup and reduce time-to-market.

On PrestaShop Checkout, the new Authorization & Capture feature secures customer funds instantly while delaying settlement until fulfillment. This eliminates unnecessary refunds and cancellation fees, ensuring payments are only processed for orders that actually ship.

The PrestaShop EventBus now has its own addon page on the PrestaShop Marketplace, available in 10 languages, and will soon have its own interface in the back office. EventBus is the backbone of the PrestaShop ecosystem: it connects your store to CloudSync, and enables PrestaShop services and partner modules to work seamlessly.
