How Mon Lit Cabane continues to scale with PrestaShop Enterprise
Who, as a child, never dreamed of sleeping in a treehouse? Of having a space of their own, a cozy refuge, a place that feels magical. That almost universal desire is the promise behind Mon Lit Cabane. Founded in 2017, the company has become a leading name in children’s furniture, generating more than €18 million in annual revenue. Behind that success lies, among other things, a robust and scalable ecommerce platform powered by PrestaShop.
In 2025, the brand reached a new milestone by choosing PrestaShop Enterprise. The move was publicly shared at Tech For Retail, where Marie Pontoizeau-Noël, project manager at Mon Lit Cabane, and Angelo Aouad, PrestaShop France country manager, spoke side by side.
The Mon Lit Cabane journey
The story begins like many strong entrepreneurial ventures: with a very concrete need. Gabriela and David were looking for an original bed for their daughter. While abroad, they discovered the cabin bed concept, playful, well-designed, and well-made. They decided to bring the idea to France and turn it into the foundation of a real business.
From the start, ecommerce was the obvious choice. Mon Lit Cabane launched its first website and laid the groundwork for its growth. The brand then expanded to marketplaces, an effective way to gain visibility and test demand, before refocusing on its own site. Sales quickly gained momentum. In 2018, the company entered the Spanish market, followed by Italy in 2019. The year 2020 marked a decisive turning point.
“We launched our first TV advertising campaign right in the middle of the health crisis. There was a strong need for comfort and cocooning. Families rethought their homes, their décor, and their daily lives.” Marie Pontoizeau-Noël, Project Manager, Mon Lit Cabane

This momentum led the company to further structure its operations. It opened its first physical store in Bayonne, moved into new premises, and in 2022 created a dedicated logistics hub to support fast-shipping beds alongside its made-to-order offering.
Recognition followed. Mon Lit Cabane was named Product of the Year multiple times, in 2021, 2023, and again in 2024, with three categories awarded. These distinctions reinforced both the relevance of the concept and the quality of the craftsmanship.
In 2023, the brand took another step forward with the opening of its first store in Germany, confirming growing interest beyond French borders.
An ecommerce site that grows with the brand
Throughout Mon Lit Cabane’s growth, PrestaShop has played a central role. From the outset, the solution proved to be an accessible, scalable foundation well suited to a young brand. Intuitive and supported by a wide range of modules available on the PrestaShop Marketplace, it covers all operational needs, from logistics and marketing to customer experience. Just as important is the freedom it offers in terms of customization.
“That flexibility was critical. It allows us to evolve our site at our own pace, based on our priorities. For example, we developed a module that links every accessory shown in a lifestyle photo to the main product. With one click, customers can add the bed canopy, duvet, lamp, cushions.” Marie Pontoizeau-Noël, Project Manager, Mon Lit Cabane
Over the years, the site has been enhanced with features designed to support the brand’s scaling efforts, including custom developments around complementary products for the cabin bed and the implementation of multistore management. This functionality centralizes orders and inventory across different locations and has proven strategic in maintaining a unified view of the business.
Throughout this growth phase, the company has relied on PrestaShop teams and the strength of its ecosystem.

International ambitions, sustainability commitments, and new projects
As several showrooms are being considered in Milan, Paris, Lisbon, and Madrid to let customers experience product quality firsthand, the brand has also recently launched an Arabic-language site aimed at Gulf countries. This move builds on the success achieved at a trade show in Dubai, where the concept generated strong interest.
“PrestaShop makes it easier to enter new markets, thanks to currency management, translations, and adaptation to local requirements. This is key for Mon Lit Cabane, which now generates 40% of its revenue internationally.” Marie Pontoizeau-Noël, Project Manager, Mon Lit Cabane
The brand is also strengthening its commitment to responsible practices. In 2024, it launched a dedicated second-hand platform, extending product lifecycles while staying true to its values, including FSC-certified wood and responsible manufacturing. At the same time, a B2B offering is under development. It will target professionals such as daycare centers, hotels, vacation rentals, and more broadly any hospitality environment looking to integrate cabin beds into their spaces.
A new chapter with PrestaShop Enterprise
To support continued growth, Mon Lit Cabane chose to migrate to PrestaShop Enterprise, with the go-live planned by the end of the year. A carefully considered decision aligned with the brand’s ambitions.

PrestaShop Enterprise is based on a PaaS distribution of the open-source solution, designed to address the performance, stability, and maintainability challenges faced by fast-growing merchants.
The platform relies on optimized hosting built specifically for PrestaShop, with caching and monitoring systems designed to handle traffic spikes. It includes a validation process for custom developments, a curated selection of certified modules, and automated updates with no service interruption.
The offering also includes dedicated technical support and tailored guidance at every stage of the project.
“At this stage of our growth, we needed a solution capable of supporting increased scale. PrestaShop Enterprise gives us the robustness, performance, and support required to continue expanding and bring our ambitions to life.” Marie Pontoizeau-Noël, Project Manager, Mon Lit Cabane
