  1. Thank you! I had to hit CTRL-F5 a few times for it to take effect. I was using F5, had never heard of hard refresh.
  2. That is exactly what I've been trying and my store still looks the same.
  3. I am new to PrestaShop and would like to start customizing my store. I thought I would start with changing the background color on the main page. I saw a post that recommended changing the global.css file under the default theme. I've tried several things but nothing seems to take effect. I must be doing something obvious wrong and any ideas would be helpful. Thanks, Steve
  4. I got it working. I tried the settings mentioned above as well as creating a new user in PayPal Manager with ADMIN privileges and a different password. I had created a user without ADMIN privileges (not sure why) and the same password before. I was able to see paypal as a payment option in the store finally. Now I need to test making the purchase. Steve
  5. Mine is working now. What I did was create a new user in my Pay Pal Manager with ADMIN privileges and a different password and used this user and password in the PayPal Advanced user & password settings. I had tried just using my main user & password, then a user I created that was not ADMIN. I tried making a purchase and PayPal showed up as a payment method. I have not tried going through with the payment. I'll get up the nerve to do that next. Steve
  6. OK, thanks for that confirmation, I appreciate knowing this and that I'm not the only one. I have so much other work to do with getting my webpage and blog going, I can't get derailed by this too much. Check out my site if you're interested. www.nourishyourselftoday.com www.nourishyourselttoday.com/wp www.facebook.com/nourishyourselftoday
  7. I tried the same thing yesterday after reading that you need to install both PayPal Advanced and a PayFlow Gateway. I also reread an email that I would need to wait a day to be approved for the PayPal Advanced and would receive an email when I was but haven't yet received anything. They said I would get it in 24 hours which was Thursday. Not impressed with this whole experience.
  8. I am having the same problem and I don't believe its due to the version, I just installed PrestaShop 1.5.5 and the PayPal 1.2.5 comes with it already. I am configuring PayPal Advanced and get this error on the Advanced Settings Your PayPal Manager Configuration crendentials are not valid, please double-check their values or contact PayPal. Please help!
  9. I get the following error on the configuration page for Advanced Settings: Your PayPal Manager Configuration crendentials are not valid, please double-check their values or contact PayPal. Everything looks right. I've been stuck on this for a couple days with no response from Presta Shop or PayPal. Steve
  10. I am brand new trying to add Presta Shop and PayPal Advanced to my website. I get an error on my setup page for Advanced Settings Your PayPal Manager Configuration crendentials are not valid, please double-check their values or contact PayPal. Everything looks right, any ideas?
  11. Now I have the issue setting up PayPal Advanced module gives me this error Your PayPal Manager Configuration crendentials are not valid, please double-check their values or contact PayPal. The values are correct as far as I can tell. I wonder if I need to have the account verified before this setup will work.
  12. OK, I'm in now. I decided to launch from InMotion cPanel and it seems to have made a difference. Before I was putting in the URL myself in my history.
  13. Thanks for the reply, I did just that and I'm back to the problem I had that resulted in my resetting my password is that when I log in nothing happens. Very frustrating, I have accomplished nothing today and I dedicated this whole day to getting this going.
