  1. Got the problem with 1.7. 1) Disable cache 2) Move all the files to the root (public_html) 3) Used phpMy Admin to edit ps_shop_url field "physical_uri" leaving there only / simbol 4) ERROR 500.
  2. Don't want to create the same topic, but in my case it is 1.7.7.0. Just wanted to move the Prestashop from one folder on the server to another. So after I moved it - now I'm getting the Error 500. I went ahead and in the database corrected the table ps_shop_url to reflect the updated path in the PHYSICAL URI. Didn't help. I also deleted the VAR/Cache folder. Didn't help. Any other suggestions? What else needs to be updated?
  3. My hosting provided declined to upgrade the ICU saying that I'm on the shared server and they don't do upgrades on request because of that. So I guess I'll stick with PHP 7.4
  4. Reply to myself - developer told it was a bug in the module (in regards to the order creation without a proper checkout). Also they told Paypal advanced doesn't offer the refunds from the order page and also since it is a frame it doesn't have the ability to make sure the customer checks "agree to all conditions" thing in the bottom of the page.
  5. But at least it's working with 7.4 without the problems that it had while it was set to 7.3. I was asking my hosting provider about the ICU - I guess the guy in the support didn't have a clue what's it was, so I gave up on that What's this abbreviation stands for? May be I'll be able to explain it better next time to online support.
  6. Got installed Paypal Advanced module from Presto-Changeo. Payments are processed, orders generated, but there are few glitches and I don't know what they are related to - PS platform or payment module. Glitch Nr1 During the payment process but BEFORE Paypal password being entered I click the link - "cancel and return to the webstore" instead of going back website generates the new order and showing the payment was accepted as well as the reference number. Obviously no real payment has been made. Glitch Nr2 When I'm making a payment regardless if I choose to pay using Paypal or credit card I can skip the checkmark "I agree to the terms of service and will adhere to them unconditionally" which is not correct. Technically customer shouldn't be able to complete the payment before this checkmark is checkmarked. Glitch Nr3 When I apply the partial refund from the back office on the order page for a legit fully processed order - system tells that partial refund was successful, and also generates the credit slip, however in reality nothing happening. No actual refunds has been provided. So I'm not sure if I need to go for the module developer or it's a known problem on Prestashop side?
  7. Front office works too. Was able to create a new customer. Time to time getting 500 error. Not sure if it's related to the server performance or something else.
  8. Folks, Prestashop 1.7.7.0. In a CSV file I don't see the "short_description" field, only the "description". Is it named differently or there is no "short description" thing anymore? I have both fields in for Prestashop 1.4.6 CSV file. Update. Found it. Looks like it's being called "Summary" now.
  9. Just an update - when I turned on PHP 7.4 - back office started to work. Will check the rest of the functions now.
  10. Chatting now with the hosting support. Hopefully they will be able to provide some info. On the side note - what the file/folder permissions should be? May be there is an issue with them?
  11. Just for a curiosity - is there any way to change this setting somewhere in the files on server, since my back office is not working (may be this is the reason my back office is not working as well as some part of the front office).
  12. Tried different PHP versions including 7.2 and 7.3. No difference Is this the information below?
  13. Was thinking that it's should be a time now for me to upgrade from 1.4.6 to 1.7.7.0. Don't want to damage while 1.4.6 is still working so installed 1.7.7.0 on the different server. Installation went smooth. Database connected no problem. Have "your installation is finished" screen with backend login and password. Removed Install folder. When I'm trying to login to the back office by providing the login credentials and clicking "Log In" button - the picture with the credentials disappears leaving only the bird . No errors, no nothing. If I click refresh - I see the credentials screen again. Different browsers - same result. When I'm playing with the front end and trying to create a new customer after submitting an information browser giving me HTTP error 500. I think both those issues are connected somehow. What am I missing?
