Error message on website when ordering for shipping selection

I am setting up my site got everything the way I wanted to far so I was testing it out

(mind you I am no htmp/php [spam-filter] so I am just select drag or click-or set up with the modules)

I got my first item inmy cart. add billing and shipping address and then it gives this message:

There are no carriers available that deliver to this address.


I have ups and usps set up for my carries and ups as mu default. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

is it possible that when your seeing that you have not yet entered an address as that customer? If so the system has no way to check for the shipping cost.. it requires a zip code be entered. You can prevent this by eliminating the purchase as guest option and requiring an account with address to be set up to checkout.. then that error will never come up.. but if you want guest checkout they must enter their address to see shipping carrier options..

You can alternatively change the error message in the translations tab to something like: "A valid address and zip code is required to calculate your shipping costs!"
