Help me with creating a theme

I welcome. I decided to create my own project of the template based on ordinary basic Classic

I installed PrestaShop in the version 1.7.6. 0 on my localhost

I downloaded source files from official GitHub prestashop and I took out of it (from the folder themes) only a template about the Classic name so that I can make the edition.

I installed Webpack, node.js in order can compile for them files.

I made the edition in the theme.scss file (I changed the colour header on red) in the framework of testing whether it generally speaking works. I started consoles I patted npm run watch  and supposedly they compiled. So I threw the one entire "my" to htdocs/themes I launched the template Presta in the panel - ok  is showing my name, by whom designed but I can't see changes on the side of shop. At once I am warning that everything is placed in the productivity this way how should. That is most noticeably somewhere I am making a mistake in it for everyone but to the truth I don't already know where. Is there a chance to advise me?
