Zigma
My store are going to sell shoes, and with that said the problem lies in the different sizes How am I supposed to do if I wants to give the costumer the opportunity to choose wich size she /he wants before pressing "buy"I know that I can upload all shoe sizes with the same pic, but thats just disturbing. Is there a option to make a subcategory on the product? eg Nike --> size 1 -->size 2-->size 3 etc...

cor3ys
you will need to set up the groups and atributes first these are also located under the catalog tab in the back office

tonytiger
HiI had this issue as well and Prestashop can deal with it - it just needs a little more detail on the explanation and its fairly straight forward. So here goes:Step 1 - In Catalog choose Attributes and GroupsChoose Add Attributes Group (I created one called Pick a shoe size - MEN)Then hit saveStep 2 - Choose Add attributePick the Group Name (in this case - Pick a show size - MEN)In the box above it labelled "Name" - add your shoe sizes (ONE AT A TIME) and hit save. Now for some reason I had to hit save twice but after you add your attribute name - eg 11 - and after you hit save it should take you back to the Attributes and Group pageRepeat step 2 for all your shoes sizes - 6,6.5,7,7.5 etc et cNow that is the Attribute Group (Pick a show size) set up and the attributes (actual shoes sizes) allocated to that groupStep 3 - Go to each individual shoe (in my case running shoes)Choose the shoe you are adding to your catalogueTo add sizes to the shoe do thisChoose CombinationsFirst line should say "Group" and then "Attribute"This will be the Group (Pick a shoe size - Men) that you just set up and then under that all the attributes (or shoes sizes)Now - this is where I went wrong!Lets say you have sizes (attributes) that run from 6 - 12 - do thisChoose the attribute (size 6) from the Attribute drop downHit AddAND THEN SCROLL DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE "ADD THIS COMBINATION" - click that button - thats add the option for a customer to choose a running shoe of size 6Do the same for all the other sizes -7 8 9 10 11 12 - making sure that after each arribute (or size is chosen) that "Add this combination" is clickedYou can also set stock levels for individual sizes if you wish and so onThat should be you done with adding shoe sizes (or any other sizes!!)Bet of luck and thank you to all at Prestashop for a great product!!!
