STS
I have ssl enabled on all pages. After doing this, gzip compression is now off. I am running mod-deflate. Reading about this, most servers turn off compression with SSL as it introduces vulnerabilities, CRIME and BREACH, among others. I can force it on, but most searches say not to unless you are sure it is safe. Without gzip, load times increase and rankings decrease. Are there any recommendations from PrestaShop on the use of SSL and compression? It this a reasonable risk?
El Patron
you should run mod_deflate. I've never run into issue with ssl coupled with gzip.
