help to add a external page to my presta shop

Recommended Posts

Hi All,
First let me say thanks to the Presta Shop Team and all the people who help us "New" people out, I have managed to setup shop, customise, and fix a couple of bugs just by reading the forum, Thanks to all.

My problem, I wish to add a page hosted on another site to my Presta shop (does not need to be added to the categories) linking to it from the Presta shop header (I have a few other links in header)

this is the page I wish to link to from presta shop : nxgn-ltd.com/ezweblite/public/styles/speed/default.asp

this is my presta shop : presta.speedmotorcycleclothing.net

please see diagram to see where I would like the page to be displayed

All the best,
Steve :-)

Hi Ehinarr,
Thanks for your reply, I am using Presta Shop V1.0.0.8 (no CMS), I have tried the Pico CMS but no go, I have tried a few other things but still no go, I cannot add more code to the bike sales page (I can only change background and header). Linking to the bike sales page from my presta shop only opens it in a new window (without the presta header, footer and left column), it needs to be framed somehow with the presta shop being the frame as in the picture.

can you help ?
All the best,
Steve

Hi,
Tried addstuff, the problem is how to display an external page (I cannot copy the code to place in addstuff) I need a way of framing the bikes for sale page with the Presta header, footer and left column. (the bikes for sale page is only for viewing, people will not be buying from the bikes for sale page so it does not have to be linked to the cart or Categories).

Is there any developers out there who could set this up for me for a price ? (how much would somthing like this cost?)

All the best,
Steve

I'm not sure if this is what you need?

You will have to move the right modules to the left at the BO

Hello Hieloiceberg,
How did you do that ?, and how do I implement it ? (it looks like what im after, but I want to use my presta header, footer and left column)

All the best,
Steve

Hi Ehinarr,
No I did not get it sorted out yet, at the moment I have installed 1.1 and im playing with that at the moment, (having a few problems with prestaworks addstuff, I get an internal server error 500 when I transplant the module to the left side). I will be trying to sort out the extra page soon, at the moment it opens in a new page and it can stay that way for a while (untill my knowledge about editing files improves)

new 1.1 site address no2.speedmotorcycleclothing.net

All the best,
Steve
