PS 1.7.5.2 - Product edit page in admin - Category tree as dropdown list module

Hello community!

I would need advice on the following issue:

- I have a very thick category tree, and when I get the product editing page or trying to create a new product, I get error 500. We suspect that this happens because loading one of the two pages the platform tries to load the whole tree of categories (and more it does "expand all" the first time). To avoid this I'm thinking of implementing a module in which the category tree is structured in a series of dropdown lists.

Can you advise me how could I do this? Is there a ready-made module? Has anyone hurt this problem?
