Product & Category migrate from Presta 1.3.2 to 1.4

'Ello everyone,

I have working on the 1.3.2 version of prestashop for a client and I wanted to migrate import the products/categories into a fresh 1.4 install. I wouldve just updated the my current install but that would required the site to be down which is not an option for my client.

I would appreciate some advice on achieving this. Thanks a lot!

I strongly suggest to duplicate your existing site and keep existing site running.
Then try to upgrade the duplicated site to 1.4, when everything goes well, switch to use new site.
Because I have seen so many people failed the upgrade.
