Logging into all shops (multi-store), design question

Hi

First of all, I would like to thank everyone in the forums who contributes (or has contributed) and helps beginners like me.

I am in process of developing a custom module for a Prestashop based POS that would allow a store employee (team member) to log into the Front Office of any multi-stores created on the domain. My question is if it would be possible for a non-customer (team member/employee) to log into the front of the store? Is that possible or will I still have to create a separate "customer" account?

Basically it's more of a technical design question to keep the code simple.

I also apologize as I can't go too much into the details due to my contract but it's sort of a self-service kiosk solution.
