noonoo
Hi there,I wonder is anyone else having problems with loading product images when adding a new product? I haven't upgraded to 1.4 yet- still using 1.3.3 and haven't had this problem before. I was adding new products without a hitch and for some reason the last couple I entered just won't load the image- 'no image available for this product' shows up in the box where the image should be. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated- I've tried everything I can think of!shopfront: http://walnutbooks.com/
shokinro
first thing to check if the images are physically exists for the products.the images should be locate following folderYourSietRoot/img/p/xxx-yyy-name.jpgwhere xxx is the product id and yyyy is the images id.if there images are not there, it means you something is wrong with your upload image.otherwise, maybe the image path (URL) generating is wrong. noonoo
Thanks for replying - I can't find the images anywhere so I think you're right and there is some problem with the filepath- don't know what to do about that though!

noonoo
Nope- when I add image at back office it says 'update successful' but the image isn't there- the image box that usually appears with the front cover for each product doesn't generate and the caption box keeps reverting to the product name rather than the ref I input. Can't get access to config file. Thanks again for your time in replying
noonoo
ok - an update for anyone else who encounters this problem and is a techno-idiot like me- restarted computer- problem solved. Reckon it was a windows issue rather than a problem in prestashop. Sometimes switch it off and switch it back on again actually works! Many thanks for the help shokinro

Abh
Thanks for the tip, it was indeed a browser problem. It started after i moved my website on another domain. Once i made the upload with another browser, everything went ok.
