lgdecor
Hello, I can't find anything about refund policy on addons.prestashop.com. I bought a module which is completely broken and would like to get my money back. The module in question is this one: https://addons.prestashop.com/en/sizes-units/18566-product-price-area-table.html So far I have found 10 (!) issues with the module. I obviously contacted the developer about it, in 12 days he managed to fix two issues and create another big issue (right now I can't even save product's settings because of some unsecured scripts). If addons is Presta's official shop then how is it possible to buy a broken module from there? Aren't all of them tested thoroughly before release? And what about support? If I buy a module with 3 months of support and it takes the developer to make the module work at all a whole month then I'm left with 2 months of support. How the hell is it a fair deal?! Obviously none of the issues are from my side. I tested it on my main shop with Warehouse theme installed and on various clean 1.7.5.2 installations and results were always the same. Simonas Invertus
I am sorry to hear about your bad experience. Modules have to pass PrestaShop validation before they are on the marketplace. However, if you pass validation for 1.7.2.0 version somebody could buy your module and install on 1.7.5.0. Sometimes modules and themes conflict with each other. If you try it on fresh PrestaShop it works perfectly and when you install theme, module stops working. Developer test module on PHP5.6 but customer server has PHP7.3 and it doesn't work. I just want to say that there are so many things that can go wrong and it's hard to make perfect module. As for long response time, well... if module was developed by lonely developer he probably has a lot of other work to do just to get food on the table and free support doesn't pay his bills. It's sad, but it's reality. You can ask developer to refund the module and if he doesn't do that you can contact PrestaShop financial department and ask them to refund for you.
