Products : Restrict customer groups

Hello all,

I'm using PS 1.6.1.20 and I have a situation where i want to restrict my customers those who belongs to  "Customer" group. Few points are  :

What they can do :

• They are able to view products without price and add to cart button to buy.

Restrictions  :

• They can see the products without price and discounts.
• They can not buy all product, they are allow to buy one product ( which is membership fee product )

To accomplish this, i followed below steps :

STEP 1 :  I tried to disable pricing for Guest ,Visitors and Customers by Customer -> Groups -> Show prices   ( switching to 'x'  in attachment.)

STEP 2 :  Created custom page for membership fee product which does it's jobs well ( if not restricted to view prices for customer group) and adds Customer in "Members" group after payment successful.

PROBLEM: Customer ( Customer group ) able to add cart this product ( membership  fee product ) . but can not check out , it shows "This store has not accepted your new order." .

Any way we can resolve my work / this issue?

Thank you Nemo.  Your module is interesting and beautiful. What if I have hundreds of products in my shop already. How can I restrict/modify restrictions massively on a product / Product group? Any clue?

There is no option to do it in bulk by default, so what you can do is erase lines from the database table for the groups you don't want to give access to
