How to make phone number mandatory when customers order ?

Hello everyone, 

I have a problem because the shipment module I use (Boxtal) requires to give a phone number when shipping. But when my customers order it is written optionnal next to the phone number box. Do you know how to change this so that customer have to give their phone number when ordering ?

There is an option in the back office, in the customer preferences
