ssekazinga
Yes the problem is with the Table xxxx_tab. Please replace the AdminAppearance with AdminThemes in the xxx_tab table. U can use phpmyadmin to do it or feel free to send me the database login and i do it for you... older presta uses AdminAppearance as new prestashop uses AdminThemes but is not changed during Upgrade unless you Go Fresh InstallIt worksregardsJulius Noble

Guest
I had this issue 1 week ago when doing upgrade. The problem is caused by memory limit set too low from php.ini and the themes do not show at the tab. You need to set the next to .htaccess or if you have access to php.ini change it from there and restart the httpd server in useset this to .htaccess file:php_value memory_limit 64MYou dont need to restart server after this change. I set it to 64M, could be more or less. But more than 20M (M = Mb), the tab will give error if you have php errors on from prestashop configuration. My tab took some ~19Mb. If you cant do it, ask your hosting company to increase memory for php configuration. Though this might cost you few bucks.

Caleydon
Backup whole database! Make fresh installation 1.4.x and export tables: ps_access, ps_tab, ps_tab_lang Replace these tables in the upgraded database All problems with tabs will be resolved Note: if you're using different table prefix, change ps_ with your own prefix The upgrade script is not tested by PrestaShop team very well.
