Transplant UPS Module v1.0 to Prestashop 1.3.x

Does anyone know (or tried) if it is possible to transplant the official UPS Module 1.0 from Prestashop 1.4 to the older 1.3.7???

Of all the features introduced in Prestashop 1.4, integrated UPS shipping was the biggest one for me. Unfortunately, I am using a theme that is incompatible with PS 1.4, and which is giving me problems even when I set it to use Smarty 2. So I am unable to update to PS 1.4 until my theme provider gets it updated.

In the interim, I'd love to use the UPS Module though and just wanted to know what potential problems/behaviors I should pay attention for, if it is even possible.
