Search Bar Customization

Hi Guys

I am using PS 1.7.5.1, my client wants the search faciunction to be the same as the addons site as image attached, anyone can suggest what needs to be done to achieve this look

Are you using the default theme? Some css should be enough

well.. i might be in wrong here but i think he ment  faciunction (function)? So CSS wont do the trick here.

To have functions like that u will need module - atleast imho

I just would like the search bar to be as big as it is in my first post (standard shop search)

If it's just a visual mod you can right click, inspect element, and see where the sizer is defined. If it's compressed, just override it in custom.css

Usually that iwhat I would try first, but the search bar is not static, one has to click on the magnifying glass first, Totally new new to Prestashop and totally lost.

That must depend on the template, see if there is an option to have it static in the theme's config panel

You can use your custom css in Theme Control Panel menu.
