Quantity resets itself on product setup

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I add a product, and in the quantity box put for example "1000". After clicking Add Product, it shows "6" in the quantity box and on the main site shows "Last item in stock".

I changed the quantity even in PHPmyAdmin, which made no difference; the quantity is always at "6"

Any ideas on how to fix that?

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind.. fixed it.

I'd really like to know too....I can't even change my quantity from "1"...when I click on it to change it, it goes grey, and unchangeable:-(

Maybe you have more than one product-variation? Change the quantity for every variation.

Thank you!!
Yes, I found out I can't change it as in pic 1 lol
NOW I understand! It really is hard to find out things sometimes, because often there is assumed knowledge that I just don't have ( yet!), and i always seem to use the wrong search terms...I use terms that seem logical...to me lol.
I do thank you sincerely!
I may start making a collection of your type of "visual tutorial", and making some of my own ( once I know how to do more with prestashop lol), and put them all together and post them here:-)

Well shoot! I've been adding products, and have just discovered that if a product has NO attributes, I cannot change the quantity on the Info part still:-((
The way you showed me only works with products that come in different colours/lengths/gauges......and a lot of my products don't have any attributes.
Back to the drawing board ...or google;-)
