LouisF
can anyone explain how a new theme effects prestashop? I installed the prestahop_alt theme and am trying to make small changes to the website for now. For some reason any changes I make to the footer.tpl file are not reflected on the website at all./themes/prestashop_alt/modules/footer.tplRunning PrestaShop™ 1.4.0.17Reason for footer edit is to remove this: Powered by PrestaShop™ www.prestashop.com
njacques
Try turning on the Force compile option on the Back Office > Preferences > Performance page - this is helpful when you're making changes to .tpl files. Just don't forget to turn it off again when your done making changes.

publitesa
Hi. It doesn't run for me... I tried forcing compile and saving but when I refresh it doesn't run... My category module appears white. I need showing my changes on .tpl and I can not get it. If I turn force compile again to off, it doesn't show my changes. Any help?
