Images link too long for CSV import

Hi,

I am having problems importing new products with multiple images via a csv file.

My supplier uses very long image links so I get the error  that the image field is too long during import.

Can I change the settings for this field length somewhere?  I have quite a few products with 7 or 8 images.
Now I can't upload them.

I am using PS 1.7.5.1 and will try later on 1.7.5.2 too.

Hello:

Try to download all images manually and upload them to a temp folder in your hosting. Then you can make short the link field in CSV easly.

Thanks but that is no solution.  It is too much work.
I have to do it with the csv file that I get  from my supplier for regular updates with new products.

The solution must be in the code somewhere or a field in the database must be enlarged to 500 or 1000 characters.
It's only for the import process because then PS does it's own magical hocus pocus with them.
