Product customization in 1.4

Hi
Do many people use the product customization option and have you tested it with version 1.4. I have rasied a bug request because it appears that you cannot delete a customization file after uploading it a product whether it is added to the cart or not.
The bug has been raised for weeks and I cannot get any update on it all and wonderd if I am alone in using thsi feature that works so well in 1.3
