Category tree links doesn't behave properly

Hi,

I have an issue with the Category tree links module, which doesn't behave as it should. I hope someone can spread some light on this matter:

I have set the Category Root to: "Current category, unless it has no subcategories, in which case the parent category of the current category is used" and infinite depth (0). 

This should get the result that it show the current category tree as long as it has subcategories, like this:

The root category is "Hem" and the subcategory 1 is "2019" and the subcategories 2 are "Vintern, 2019", "Våren, 2019" etc. 

But if I now klick on the root category "Hem" which browse me to the first page, it should show all subcategories ("2019", "2018", "2017" etc), but it still show the exact same tree:

Why is this?
