How to translate a string in already installed module

Hello,

I have modified a third-party module by adding a new string in the module code, and upload via FTP (no reinstall / reset of the module)

In PS17_displayNav.tpl :

{l s='You still need to submit your quotation request.' mod='roja45quotationspro'}

How can I translate this string ?

This new string is not beeing listed in the possible translations... Therefore, I can't translate it now 😞

In the translation page of Prestashop... only the two other strings are listed (see printscreen)

 

I suppose I can reinstall / reset the module... but I am looking for a way to add this new string in the translation database ITHOUT loosing all my (personal) translations of the module.... So I fear to reset/resintall the module !
