backend index.php is empty

hit to all. I am new to prestashop. I hear good reviews. So my problem is this:

i just install the 1.4 version which i stable. I am running mac os x. I did the steps: when i complete the installation i deleted the install foldr and i renamed the admin folier. when i tried to loggin it goes to index.php as it should but it shows nothing. any suggestions?


io run mac os x and mamp and also i use virtual hosts if that help you. for example mysite.loc
