Product as a gift only

Hello,

 

is it possible to have a product, that is not normally visible on frontend and not available for order, but is possible to get using a cart rule voucher with "Send a free gift" feature? I was playing with disabling the product, unchecking available for order, changing quantity to zero and denying orders, but it looks like in all these cases it is also not possible to use the voucher code - product is not displayed in the cart after code application.

 

I am using PS 1.6.1.23.
