Allyt
I have a clean install 1.4.0.17 and default theme & as far as I can view, all functions work (apart from the Movements issue) and I have a shop to sell products. Once again, I stress this is a vanilla out of the box theme. If I enable the currencies block, it appears at the top of the left column (not inside).I believe it should be adjacent to the customer block in the header. Thats where it typically sits. The module is indeed positioned in the header list. I have changed the positions and I have disabled it, uninstalled it, reinsalled it & stood on my chair singing but nother makes any difference. Can somebody clarify if 1.4 has intentionally moved the default position and better still has anyone advice how to change it to be in the header. (apart from all that process I mention above)ThanksAlly
salko
I have very similar if not the same problem than you: I have made a clean install of v1.4.0.17, the currencies and sitemap modules were enabled by default and were in "the right position" at start (on top of the page, between search and language selection), but because I did not need them I turn them off. Then I managed my site, customized logos, language, add articles, etc. ... all this without manually editing the code, everything was made in BackOffice so I could not mess some things up with editing files ... Then I wanted a currency and sitemap module back and they appeared in a very strange place, somewhere in the middle of the header (see attached picture, red arrows represend approx. where these icons should be). How come???
Allyt
Here is an interesting find.I was previously using presta 1.3 and as the topmenu functionality was not incorporated, I had added the block to that version. Now after migrating to 1.4 & having spent a while cross checking my current installation and indeed recalling my migration path , it transpires I had added the topmenu block again to the 1.4 install via ftp.I have deleted the topmenu block, the currency block position sits where we previously expected it to.So to correct what I said above, I did not have a vanilla install.
