Write permissions on folders

Hi,

I'm now trying to connect the database to a localhost database. On step two everything has the green check except under "Write permissions on folders and subfolders/recursively:"

I'm on a mac and know nothing about setting permissions, and can not find any info about setting permissions.

Please help me if you can.

I use filezilla to ftp the files to my server. Then you can find the files on your server within filezilla, right click, choose properties and file permissions, change them as instructed.
