v 1.4 maintenance.tpl does not update correctly

Recommended Posts

Hi !
I just made tiny modif on the maintenance.tpl of my new theme.
The modified css file works, but there is no change in the contents from the new edited tpl file.
What is happening ?
Thank you,
note: the modified maintenance tpl resides in "mytheme" folder

Same problem here... if anyone has a solution or workaround it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

UPDATE:

I have made a breakthrough!! We need to update the performance settings in order for our changes to the .tpl files to take effect immediately.

Go to Back Office > Preferences > Performance

- Enable “Force Compile”

- Disable “Cache”

Thanks to Callosmart Blogs for pointing me in the right direction through their 1.4 theming article

Hi all,

First, what cookieweb said above is correct. To make things easy, I've put together a video tutorial that addresses this and other issues with respect to performance settings. You can watch it at http://www.prestatraining.com/performance-settings-for-prestashop-version-1-4/. I'm still unsure how to use the media servers so any info on that would be helpful.
