Great features!

Installed successfully without any problem. (Don't know why I had problem in 1.4.0.15 RC) but this works fine.

Cant wait to implement one page checkout and guest checkout process in my live site (PS 1.3.6)!

Only one problem I have in BO.

I can't see contents under Payments and Module tab. I know it might be something silly on my side. Only one thing I have checked was permissions. And its fine as what required by PS. But cant think of any other stuff.

Anyone any idea?

Thanks.

Kash.

Hi all,

Problem of Payment and Modules tab solved by uninstalling around 25-30 modules.

I guess its the problem related to memory.

Now a new problem with my .htaccess file.

I want my site from example.com to www.example.com

RewriteCond %{http_host} ^example.com
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]

If I set above rules in .htaccess, it doesn't work in FO. I can still access BO with new rules.

FO gives erros (chrome: 310 too many rules, Firefox: related to cookies which can not be accepted)

Anyone any idea? Don't understand what I am missing here.

Thanks.

Kash.

Thanx for the 1.4 release ... looks great with some nice features.

Since the upgrade i have a representation issue in the FO. When selecting a product it shows the correct product and details but the view of the related products is messed up. The view shows them under each other instead of besides eachother as in 1.3 version.

Any idea how this is possible and more important how I can fix this?

Saludos

Just finished updating to 1.4 v17

Looks good, I like the one page ordering I hope that will help convert a good few more sales.

One problem I've found is that I can't add any images to anything, as such I cant now add any new products to the shop as I keep getting the error

Fatal error (StockMvt -> id_stock_mvt_reason = -1)

Any thoughts?

I seem to have managed to get everything else working as I'd like for now but the inability to edit images or add new products is a bit of an issue. It seems to be the same/similar problem acreoss all the modules.

Cheers in advance. Simon

In the "How to update " guide, it says that before the update, you have to rename the admin folder in the new version of Prestashop so as to give it the same name as the admin folder of the version you are currently using. This is the opposite of the procedure for previous updates of 1.3 where the admin folder had to be reneamed after the update procedure. Is this correct or has something gone missing in the translation ?

I did it as per the instructions and renamed it prior to upgrading and it worked for me

-I have 3 shops set up and on all of them the shorter guest checkout doesn't finish the process when you get to the end there is no purchase button that moves on to the payment gate way for shoppers.

-Also google checkout module isn't full working it will allow the customer to purchase itmes and when you go to googles page everything is correct but in the shop the lasst page of the process is wrong google can't taly the total of items and doesn't add order in BO ???

Any ideas or suggestions about these issues would be great as I have asked many times for advice and help with this and get no reply
Thanks
