Problem with multilanguage

Good morning,

I have a problem with changing languages: when

 I use the Italian language (default) the site goes normally but when I change from the menu and 
I click on English the page takes a lifetime to load and most of the time from a page with this ( especially when I change the language on the home page):

when instead the change on the other pages of the site the pages are loaded but with times also of 30 seconds

I don't know what to do anymore, can someone help me?
