Cart - Log In - Account - Time out issue

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this issue of the Cart, Log in, and Account page links timing out?

I wonder if it's an issue with the settings during installation or the hosting I use, or the setting on there. (dreamhost)?

The site is Retrococo.com (A little messy it's in the early stages).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I do hate bothering people, and will try anything to work things out for myself, but am not sure where to turn on this one.

Ok a development -

I just changed the settings in the admin panel to " Enable SSL - NO "

This seemed to allow all of those pages to load without problems.

Now my questions is, does disabling the SSL put me or my users at risk? If so, how would I enable this feature without it breaking my cart and other links?
