Email setup is not working

Recommended Posts

Current version 1.3.7

When configuring Email using PHP it wont send. Emails do not get to my customers. When I do the test email it works, but when I do a sale it does not.

When I try to specify my own SMTP and test the email using the tool it just spins and does not send.

I'm urgently looking for help on this as my site is now live.

skimzmarine.com.

Here is the return header

 [email protected]
SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM::
  host sbcxxx.prodigy.net [207.xxx.37.23]: 553 5.3.0 nlpi124 DNSBL:ATTRBL 521< xx.87.xx.18 >_is_blocked.__For_information_see_http://att.net/blocks

Help?

Further to this,
The SMTP settings are not working.

While I have this PHP Mail issue I try to use the SMTP settings and when I save my settings, no matter what I put in, the Test Email link will not send.
I have tried Gmail smtp settings, i have tried my own host SMTP, SSL, no ssl...

Nothing works.
is this a known bug?
When I try to test email it just spins. no error or anything.

I see a million threads (ok, not quite that many) with this exact issue and every fix i try does not seem to help.

I'd love it if someone had a suggestion. in the meantime i'll keep searching.

I am facing the exact problem. I cannot even make the php mail to work.

When i go to contact form and send a email it says "your message has already been sent"

Can some kind souls here run through the various troubleshooting process on email setup. I'm using godaddy mail. Does it conflict with prestashop? Please help

I'm still experiencing this issue.
I have my web host looking into it but for some reason this IS a problem with Prestashop, the only app I use that has a problem.

It does nto happen if someone contacts me through the Contact Us form, but as soon as someone registeres, or makes a purchase wehre the system sends out a notification, it happens.

It occurs with Hotmail, Cloudmark (who hosts a bunch of email domains), Prodigy, ATT and some others.

It's quite rediculous. Has anyone been able to work around this?
