palmtree
Hi community ,I am a web designer with quite good knowledge in HTML, CSS and a bit of PHP.But newbie in e-commerce I am seriously considering to use Prestashop for my small shop ( about 30 products). It is small but still needs functionality. My products are sold to a clientele who expects quality. As far as I could see through examples and templates, it looks that Prestashop allow me to do what I need for this. And it is very eye-candy !So...Here are my questions before making "the big step".1ST/Does Prestashop offers the possibility ( even with an Add-on ) to update the cart according to the final shipping destination, before the checkout step ?2ND/Does a customer absolutely need to register before paying or can I give a choice not to do so ?One of the difficulty for me is to set my shipping costs as I sell Worldwide and with various shipping methods : registered, registered express and Courier ( DHL or FEDEX for example). so...3RD/ I have 3 zones for shipping. 1ST - local with a tax. The 2ND Europe and the 3RD Outside Europe both with no tax + each 3 zones has multiple sending costs variables. Can Prestashop do that ?Well that's it. hope somebody will answerThank you,Cheers
Scotty501
1) = No sure - that would require you knowing the address of the customer prior to adding to the cart I guess - which would clash with item 2.2) Yes - modules and hard code fixes on the forums - quick search will find them pretty quickly.3rd - Yes - Back office there is an option to set various tax codes for various zones. You can create a Zone called Mars and the set apply the desired tax to that zone.Hope that helps

MrBaseball34
On No. 2, I think he was talking about the checkout process. Currently, in 1.37, you would have to purchase a one page/guest checkout module.Version 1.4 has one built in.
