language pack import NOT WORKING

archive cannot be extracted

Turning off safe_mode is a big problem because of hosting company


Probably I can manually copy files from my previous version? Which ones should I copy?
Can any1 help?

Download teh language-archive file from the download section and extract this.
Then you will know excactly what you need to copy.

Done. But I didnt need to download language pack, i exported mine before...

BUT I'd like to tell you, guys... This is really bad bad BAD thing when you got to do so many things manually...

Import language pack in version 1.1 don't work. Use stable version 1.0. Version 1.1 is not stable version. 1.1 has too much bugs.

I have no problems importing language packs in my clean 1.1 install.
Mostly there is an issue with you hoster if it cannot be extracted.

Just tried an import of my 1.xb3 saved language gzip into a fresh installed 1.1 and had no problem like Tropischbruin. If your directory permissions are not correct you will get an errpr as mentioned in the first post. I remember I had that error a few times when not all directories in my modules directory had the right permission.
