rocky
If you have problems with code not updating on your website, make sure that "Force compile" is set to "Yes" on the Preferences > Performance tab.

rocky
Great. Remember to change it back to "No" after you've finished changing code to speed up your website.

vekia
Weirdy. Maybe you host use some own caching system? if you remove my-account.tpl file, you see information about missed template file when you refresh front office? can you try? instead of deleting template file you can rename it to _my-account.tpl
