kiwi1066
Hi, I am new to Prestashop, I have been playing with 1.4 test versions and all was going well till I move to rc6. I am using dreamweaver and WAMP on my pc to test this. Using 1.4.0.12 - I made a copy of the default theme and renamed it to store1. - Made changes to global.css, header.tpl and footer.tplThis worked well and was looking good. That was itThen I did a fresh install of 1.4.0.15 and then - I made a copy of the default theme and renamed it to storeRC6. - copied the CSS folder from store1 to the storeRC6 All looked good, css changes were visible, then - copied the header.tpl file from store1 to storeRC6refreshed the browser, nothing happenedMy question is what is stopping the edited header.tpl from displaying the changes in the browser? The CSS changes for the storeRC6 theme work. :ahhh: Any thoughts?Update 15 MarchFurther investigation has revealed that no tpl file edit are taken even though all looks correct. Also I have gone back to release 1.4.0.12 and the tpl edits work, what I need to find out is what changed between release 1.4.0.12 and 0.13 that may have stop the tpl edits from being taken. S7 Media Ltd
Hi Kiwi1066, the answer can be found here:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/102351/integration/solved_i_change_the__dot_tpl_file_but_nothing_change/I had exactly the same issue. It's to do with Prestashop caching the template.
