mcbole62
I purchased the Partial Payment / Credit / Installment module from Bestkit a while ago. It's dodgy at best, but I had a customer who made a payment, and it didn't get recorded to their (I'll call it a layaway for brevity's sake) layaway, although I see it in Paypal. So not seeing in their documentation how to make a payment to their plan, I asked Bestkit a. if it was possible and b. how to do it if it was. Their response (in a nutshell): Pay us money or we won't help. I'm not asking for help, I'm asking for clarification on how their product works. This is not a change to the module, this is not them installing the module. This is a question about how it works. So after the second request for just a simple answer I was told the same thing, sorry we can't help if you don't pay us money. So my suggestion is stay away from Bestkit and other companies who want to take your money to buy the module but then won't even tell you how it works. Rodrigo B Laurindo
I don't know BestKit, but if you want to know how their module works, I think it is not really a support issue. If you are a potential customer and send them an email asking for how it works, I don't think they would say you have to buy the module before they can answer... mcbole62
I've already bought the module.
Rodrigo B Laurindo
Yes, I know. I mean, if it is a question that they would answer to a potential customer, why would't they answer to an actual customer?
mcbole62
That's a good question. I can see charging for modifications, or installations, but to answer a simple question about how it works to a customer that paid for it. Seems not very professional. Just a money grab. Rodrigo B Laurindo
I see... Well... maybe your friend could be interested in buying their module and could ask the same question to them? 😝
Alien(PL)
I agree also don't have a good experience with them. They are willing to help only IF you pay extra for their time.
