Hello just started a new website www.siddhisilver.in a few days back

Everything was fine until two days back website started acting wierd and slow.
Sometimes half of the images in categories wont load and the page will complete loading.
Sometimes the page will take 60 seconds just to start the loading phase. (This happens on the back end too)

Check these server settings tested in production:

Quote

-> PS 1.7.4. AND HIGHER - explicitly requires php 7.2. and maria DB 10 or mysql 5.7.

BTW:

  • are you on own server, or shared ?
  • How many products ?
  • Max execution time on your server is too low....
  • Definitely php 7.2. and mysql 5.7. will perform better with PS 1.7.5.
  • Using own theme, or only back-office slow ? Using extra modules ? Deinstall Leo blog and try if performance is better.
  • Check error.logs of the server for possible bottle-necks.

Check what you have done two days before when performance was good and undo. Shared servers are not for ideal for Prestashop.

Nothing was done from my side actually. The website was down and the hosting fixed it and then this issue arrived.

Also i use same kind of hosting for my another website with 900+ Products and it works flawlessly

Ask the hosting provider why the website was down and what he did to fix it. Seems like the source of your issues ;)

If there is no error on your site (scripts and database), possibly another site is consuming the whole traffic of the server and than other sites on same host suffer with slowness. This is very common on shared servers, which are not using load balancing to distribute the traffic. In this case change server or take a not shared package for your site on same or other provider to host your Prestashop.

Hi guys we also face several performance issues for a few days: Ill post a pic of gtmetrix and document with webpagetest screenshot. Especially TtFB for futonia.de/de/ seems very long.

Back-End is horribly slow. Not only in the moduls....
