Gigya Social Sign On

Recommended Posts

Hi

I did a search through the forums and couldn't find anything regarding Gigya.

My question is -
Has anyone set up Gigya Social Sign On on their Prestashop store, and if so, would you be willing to give some guidelines on doing so.

I'm not a Javascript or PHP pro, but I am able to modify existing scripts, etc. to give me my desired end result most of the time. Here I am just a little cautious and would prefer some guidance from someone who has done this before.

Thanks in advance.

Never mind - their site makes no mention of a pricing model, so I Googled it. While I wouldn't expect a service like this to be free (although I still need to work my way through the many open source alternatives), charging upwards of $15 000 a year is a little extreme, and means that only very large, and very profitable, businesses would be able to afford this. The sort of businesses with a dedicated IT team with software engineers capable of easily writing their own equivalent code.

We're a new, two man operation at this stage, and a good few years away from being able to comfortably shell out $15 000 a year for an application.
