typenerd
Hi there, I'm looking into switching to prestashop from a home-brew PHP/mysql order system I designed and coded.I wanted to ask everyone who's shipping physical products, how are you printing postage with prestashop? Do you view each order and copy/paste the address and weight info into some label program? Has anyone automated their label printing?I look forward to seeing how everyone is doing this. Thanks!-dave
Littlepants
I'd love to know this as well. Up to now, I have marked the order as shipped, and then printed the delivery slip, and put it into a documents enclosed wallet. That's OK, but I don't really like marking an order as shipped, until it has actually been shipped, and the only way I can see to get a delivery slip is to mark the item as shipped. the address on the delivery slip comes out a bit small as well. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
vekia
it's a bit old topic, so my question is: what ps version you use? you can for example print shipping labels with some modules (but as far as i know there is no free module for this )
Littlepants
Not sure how I check what version. It's a brand new shop I'm building though, so I guess it's the most recent version. Can you tell me what modules would allow this please?
tuk66
M4 PDF Extensions module has built-in mailing label templates to print addresses.
Paulito
Good morning, Have a look at the ADD-ons store for paid solutions, I have put a link below to help you, I do not use it so cannot advise you http://addons.prestashop.com/en/administration-tools-prestashop-modules/3252-print-labels.html PS: To find what version of Prestashop you are using go to you back office, any page will do and scroll to the bottom, on the left you will see the version number, in your case probably 1.5.5 Hope this helps Paul
