wireaudio
Hello,I have tried searching the forums, and i have not found anything on this yet, and i'm hoping someone ran into this in the past.I have product X with price at $69.99 - Default attribute ("Type") is A (no price increase). Second attribute is B (price increases by $5).So, when selecting Product X Type A price is $69.99, and when selecting Product X Type B, price is $74.99.Ok, i hope you are still with me so far. Here comes the issue:When i am NOT logged in, or logged in from any address where there is NO TAX, the price is correct. However, when i log into an account that has the state WITH TAX (state tax, calculated for products only, excluding shipping), instead of $74.99 it shows $74.63 (yes, i changed many variables to show price without tax in cart and tax separately)! I tried going as far as checking out, and it seems that it puts transaction through with this incorrect price! (thank god it's in sandbox )If you would like to see the issue i can provide my web site where the error can be seen. Thank you all in advance,Al. wireaudio
For now i guess i'll just create a secondary product with that other option since i can't seem to figure it out If anyone has any ideas, no matter how small, i'm open for suggestions! wireaudio
Further testing indicated that the ammt that is missing is exactly 7.2% of the increased price.Say option A price is the default price at 69.99 and option B is default price + 5, it's the 5 that is missing the 7.2%. (it's missing 0.36, adding only 4.64)I came to this conclusion when i changed the increased ammt to 10 and the price was missing 0.72.The sales tax that i use is 7.75%, and error is 7.2% - Difference of 0.55%I changed tax to 10%, now error became 9.1% - Difference of 0.9%I'm trying to figure out a correlation between the numbers, so i'll post back here when i have somehting. So it looks like it's somehow tied into the tax rate. I just can't put my finger on it yet.
