Dani1989
Hello Community! I am in a bit of a pickle here I've got a client that wants me to upgrade their Prestashop version 1.6.1 to 1.7.5. When I upgraded yesterday, i found out that the theme was not compatible with the newest version of Prestashop. The theme they use is BuyShopTheme by Tony Theme and I could not find any updates for it online. They also don't know how they got it in the first place. (i just started working with these people and there was a guy before me that did all of this for them) I know HTML, CSS, and JS. As a last resort I can make the theme compatible myself. Would that be a lot of work? What are the things i need to watch out for? If anyone could point me to an official page of the BuyShopTheme by Tony Theme, perhaps there is an updated version already? My Googling failed. In general, what are some of the pitfalls and things I must watch out for when upgrading from such an old version of Prestashop to the newest? Thanks for your help in advance! Daresh
Making a theme from 1.6 compatible with 1.7 - mission impossible. You simply need a new theme and that's the main pitfall. Another one is compatibility of modules.
