override back office template

Hello

1) what is difference between 'default' and 'new theme' in 'prestashop/adminxxxx/themes' directory?
2) and what is difference between 'prestashop/src/PrestaShopBundle/Resources/views/Admin' and 'prestashop/adminxxxx/themes'?

if i want override some template files, which template files should i use and how?

Backoffice is a mix between symfony and plain php, that's why default is php and new is symfony

As for bundle etc I am not that familiar with symfony, so I am still studying the system.
