Faceted Search module appears on unwanted categories

Hello everyone.

I've set up an e-shop on PS 1.7.4 and i'm using Faceted Search module to show product attribute filters on a specific category. The problem is that only the products in a specific category have attributes. The other categories don't, and i've deselected them inside the module options.

The thing is that the module keeps appearing in these other categories, with no attributes, and only the title with the "Clear filters" message.

I've seen that it's a bug on PS 1.7 and it hasn't been resolved yet. Has anoyone found a hack to make the module disappear on the deselected categories?
