1.7.5.0 Furniture Online Store Template Move Store Logo and main-menu on the same line

Good evening everyone,

This is my first time working with CMS and I am looking for guidance regarding the adaptation of themes on prestashop.

I've got the following situation: I need the logo of the shop to be on the same line as the main-menu showing the categories. I've found both header and main-menu tpl files but not an actual index file that includes those parts. Where do i find that?

That depends on the theme you are using (based on your screenshot this is a special one). In classic theme you would find this in the layout folder/files (hemes\classic\templates\layouts) in file layout-both-columns.tpl

What i'm looking for is the file that actually 'unites' the different elements on the page, since i assume that is where i would need to do the changes.

Also then the layout file is the best starting point. In this you will find sub-files thats are loaded and which are loading further parts and on and on.... So it really depends how the theme is created where to find what.

This would require editing header.tpl and your css file.

Could you post your header.tpl and the relevant css file and we could probably help you out?
