LaurensH
Good evening together, Currently we are in our final testing phase of our new webshop. Because we wanted to test everything on the newest prestashop version we decided to install the developer branch of prestashop. The time of going live is close and we would like to test everything on the stable version now (and keep this testversion for future upgrades). The question: Is there any way of upgrading/updating Dev branch to stable? (Including phpmyadmin, moving files per "hand" etc) I tried cloning the database and changing the settings like URL, admin names of files, moving module folders and stuff but the page has errors and is unreachable. Or do we have to configure all bought modules and upload all content (over 6000 products) again? LaurensH
Hello together, I managed to do it. It seems like I had other server issues. Installing the stable version, copying the DB and change all entries with old url/user data in DB and filesystem seemed to be everything I needed to do. (Replaced "admin_dev" with new admin name in files, database access in config files & db to new data - quite a lot, but with some replace functions no problem) Regards, Laurens
