[SOLVED] How to removed "powersed with prestashop" from order confirmation emails?

Well I've edited the "mails" templates, but it's still coming up as powered with prestashop on the emails.

I want to change it to, , , .

How do I change this footer message in the mails?

Just edit the mails belonging to you language in you-domain\mails]your-language.
Use e real edittor like MatrixY2k or PSpad

I was searching the Forums for information on this issue and noticed that this thread had not been marked as "Solved".

I have the same problem.

I have edited and saved every mail template for my default language in the "Mails" folder using Notepad++.

I have checked that the edited files are in the correct folder and have downloded them again to make sure the changes have stuck.

As per the original post, "Powered with Pretashop" still appears on all emails sent by the shop.

Does anyone know why this is happening / if there is a fix?

I've never had a problem removing "Powered by PrestaShop" before. Perhaps the old files are being cached or the new files aren't uploading? Make sure you are also changing modules/mailalerts/mails and the mails directories in the other modules.

Thanks for the feedback Rocky and apologies for the late reply.

The mails folders contain both txt and html files of the same name.
I was of the mistaken belief that the html files acted like templates and rendered the strings from the .txt files.

I now understand that both files need to be edited! :red:
